‘Warcraft’ TV, Movie Summed Up Plot; CGI Filled by ‘Star Wars’ Graphic Creator

“Warcraft” TV spot sums up the storyline for 30 seconds and gives years of fresh airbrushed van inspiration. The humans and orcs are out for the warpath, but only a special human and a special orc can form a unity between the couple of warring kingdoms for the sake of brotherhood and peace.

The “Warcraft” director Duncan Jones has shown a brilliant talent. He pushes the good character through the high concepts as well as the CGI with some of his recent movies “Moon” and “Source Code,” iDigitalTimes reported.

Meantime, the forthcoming “World of Warcraft” movie is going to premiere in the summer. The movie will be full of CGI made by Industrial Light and Magic, which also made the “Star Wars” graphics. In a recent announcement, Universal Pictures confirmed that the movie will be released on June 10 due to competition. However, Jones took this positively and was confident that  the movie will be better shown this summer.

Because “Warcraft” movie will not focus on the human and orcs’ conflicts, it will concentrate on the introduction of storyline and characters and, possibly, some “Warcraft” sequels. Jones also shared how Peter Jackson of “Lord of the Rings” became successful in creating the movie adaptation of Tolkien’s books, CrossMap reported.

According to him, Peter did a good job. With his job of establishing specific characters, culture and places while narrating a story that can excite the wide audience. Duncan is hopeful that if he is able to accomplish his job the right way, the people will be encouraged to know more and demand to see more. He also added that there is definitely a lot more to share and that he would love to take part in that process of extending the lore that fills up “Warcraft.” However, he noted that everything will depend on what people think about the first movie.
